Weather

October is one of the beautiful months to visit Korea. The temperature is between 18°C and 23 °C. In such mild weather, you can truly experience Korea's beauty in the brilliant yellow sunsets and to enjoy clear blue skies.
 
Passport and Visa
Foreigners wishing to visit the Republic of Korea should obtain a valid passport. Visitors from certain countries with confirmed round-trip-tickets can stay for 30 days without visas. However, visitors from other countries should obtain entry visas before coming to Korea. Please contact your local embassy to apply for any required visa well in advance. Invitation Letter
Invitation letter will be issued to any IUMRS-ICAM 2015 registrants upon request. However, we are unable to send you an invitation letter to apply for a visa prior to receipt of your registration form and full payment of fees. Invitation letter does not imply any financial support by IUMRS-ICAM 2015 organizing committee.
 
 
Time Zone & Business Hours
Korean time is 9 hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT+9). Business hours for banks are generally from 09:00 to 16:00 on weekdays only. Banks are closed on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. ATMs are widely available. Major department stores are open from 10:30 to 20:00, Tuesday through Sunday, but smaller shops tend to open earlier and close later every day.
 
 
Currency & Exchange
The Korean currency unit is the WON (indicated ₩). Bank notes are ₩50,000, ₩10,000, ₩5,000, ₩1,000 bills and coin denominations are ₩500, ₩100, ₩50, ₩10. One US dollar is about ₩1,050 (as of October in 2013). Money can be exchanged at Incheon International Airport, banks, and hotels. Visa, Master, American Express, and Diners Club credit cards are accepted here.
 
 

Insurance

The Organizing Committee of IUMRS-ICAM 2015 will accept no liability for personal injuries sustained by or for loss or damage to property belonging to conference participants, either during or as a result of the conference or during all tours. It is, therefore, recommended that participants arrange their own personal health, accident and travel insurance.
 
 

Internet Café

Attendees are able to check their e-mails and explore the World Wide Web for free at IUMRS-ICAM 2015 Internet Café. The Internet Café will be open daily during conference hours.
